About the BEST
The BEST Mission is driven by 8 Key Focus Areas of D&M
Business-Engineering-Science-&-Technology (The BEST) Development and Management Consultants was established in 2003 with the singular aim of supporting Development Practice (DP). Fundamentally, Development and Management is a Central Governance challenge issue that both government and the private sector seek to address. The thrust of the BEST Services is thus to offer best-practiced interdisciplinary development and management Technical Assistance (TA). The BEST services therefore applies the best-practiced Contemporary development explicit and tacit knowledge and rigorous methods and tools of Business, Engineering, Science and Technology (hence the BEST), to address the complex governance challenges of development and management investments undertaken by the Public and the Private sectors. These TA services include the entire process of the development programs/policies cycle management (DPCM) and the programs/policies stabilization phase. The governance and management of this stabilization phase is more often ignored in the DPCM intervention phases, which often results to less than optimal impact of development programs/polices interventions. The BEST therefore seeks to provide a more holistic development and management services
The overarching goal of the BEST is therefore to deliver best-practiced e-Research and Development & Knowledge Management Services using the best socio-technical know-how and practices to support the contemporary development and Governance of investment projects/programs, business administration and services, especially for the public sector’s Ministry Departments and Agencies (MDAs), and for donors’ Development Projects/programs. We also support the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The overall aim of the BEST is thus to facilitate public and corporate good governance of investment projects/programs to achieve the desired development results.

- Partner with international Private Sector Counterparts/investors to invest in modern value addition to national raw materials in agriculture and mining
