iv) Logistics and Infrastructural Development Services
The BEST draws from and built upon its competence, experiences and capability in development and management services acquired over the past 14 years, to establish a thriving logistics and construction services. In the past four years, the BEST has supported, the National Pharmaceutical Procurement Unit (NPPU) for the distribution of drugs to 385 Peripheral Health Units (PHUs) in four districts (Port Loko, Kambia, Moyamba and Tonkolli) and also for CAIPA a UK-based company for seven (7) districts (Kambia, Port Loko, Tonkolili, Moyamba, Bo and Bonthe) to 617 PHUs and Logenix International to distribute drugs in Five Districts (Bombali, Koinadugu, Kono, Kambia and Port Loko).
In addition, the BEST is also currently constructing a multi-purpose TVET classroom (4500 M2) and the TVET site development including access roads, power (Thermal and Solar), terrain management, etc.
The bulk of the services offered by the BEST have been dominated by technical assistance in project Cycle management. The firm has thus acquired tremendous competences and diverse experiences in delivering technical assistance in project planning, development of M&E systems and MIS, project monitoring and evaluation of impacts of development projects, in particular, and in development and management of development programs and strategies in general. In this direction, we also draw from our experiences in other areas of our competences including but not limited to PCM Trainings, MIS Database Development, and our support to Industrial and Business development Value Chains.
